Growing up all over the Southeast, TS now calls Birmingham, Alabama home. A Division I collegiate track and field athlete, TS graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's in Public Policy and Economic Development. Serving as the managing editor of FoW, TS avidly follows sports, music and narrative in all of its forms (novels, movies, television, etc).
Editors:
Elaine Dunaway
Elaine grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and has spent her whole life loving language and books. She graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2010 with a B.A. in English literature and a minor in French (plus one credit shy of a Biology minor). Apart from literature, her interests include music, movies, television series, science, fashion, and opining on whatever strikes her fancy. She will be attending graduate school at The University of Alabama in the fall of 2011 for further literary studies of the modern American fiction persuasion.
Thomas Hokum
Hokum lives and works in Birmingham, Alabama. Graduating from Tulane with a Bachelor's in English and Creative Writing in 2007, Hokum is interested in fiction, current events, social commentary, politics, movies, music, and sifting through media-spun jargon.

David is ATL through and through. He was born and raised in Atlanta and attended Georgia Tech where he received a Bachelor's in History, Technology, and Society. When David is not cheering on his beloved Jackets, he can be found doing something almost as noble... teaching high school math, science, and history. Though he still holds out hope that he can one day be a professional athlete, he figures shaping the minds of future generations is nothing to sneeze at. Despite ending that last sentence in a preposition, David also fancies himself a writer and dabbles in being a huge sports fan, an indie music snob, and a terrible dancer.
E Thomas
A self proclaimed jack of all trades and master of none, E is a fan of mysteries and secrets in any form. Currently based in New York City, E has a passion for traveling, history, and screenwriting.
Fistful of Reviews:
We are culture junkies. We read, listen, watch, and eat a wide variety of things. From indie to mainstream, in Fistful of Reviews we share our thoughts with you about the latest or our favorite movies, television, books, music, and restaurants.
Fistful of Links:
Fistful of Links is a weekly catch-all of stories or videos we at FoW think are important or inane and wildly entertaining. From news outlets to personal blogs, our weekly list of links is as varied as our authors. Check in every Saturday to catch up with what we're reading and what you shouldn't miss.
Today's 1000:
In a play on the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words" Fistful of Words will intermittently post a picture or video under the heading "Today's 1000". If you have a suggestion for "Today's 1000" please email the FoW admin with an image/video and brief explanation of why you think it should be featured.
Guest Contributors:
Fistful of Words will occasionally feature original content from "Guest Contributors" which can range from articles, music, artwork, reviews, or photography. Check back frequently because Guest Contributors are not always advertised ahead of time.
